Madgic

Joerg Anhalt, former senior vice president of global sales at Smaato, has been appointed the new executive VP at mobile advertising optimsation firm Madgic. Anhalt consistently achieved 200 per cent year-on-year growth while at Smaato and will manage all publishers and developers worldwide at Madgic.

Anhalt, said: "I am really impressed by the sophisticated and robust technology created by Madgic. Not only is the performance amazing all around: revenue optimisation, fill rate, speed, flexibility, scalability...the service is also uniquely tailored to the needs of mobile publishers.

Smaato

With the aforementioned departure of Anhalt from Smaato, the mobile advertising exchange has hired Ajitpal Pannu as its new senior vice president of product strategy. Pannu joins from OpenX and will control a roadmap for the firm, leading products to publishers and demand partners.

Ragnar Kruse, CEO of Smaato, said: "Mr. Pannu's extensive knowledge and experience in RTB and display monetisation products for both supply and demand will be an enormous asset to Smaato.
