New installment in THQ's 'open world' franchise hits handsets as part of three-format release.
Operator decks around the world are a bit more lawless as of this morning following the release of Saints Row 2.THQ Wireless is rolling out the mobile version of the game, which is simultaneously making its debut on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Saints Row 2 charges players to reclaim the city of Stilwater, which has been overtaken by back-stabbing thugs, ruthless gangs and the Ultor Corporation.
It's certainly a change of pace for THQ Wireless, with Ernie Els Golf, Wall.E, Playboy Mansion and Star Wars Force Unleashed among its recent releases.
