Mobile ad agency nets the funding ahead of IPO.
Jumptap has bagged $27.5 million from investors, which will secure new products and tech developments before the firm joins the stock market.
Jumptap says its platform reaches 107 million mobile users in the US, and 156 million worldwide each month, in turn generating 20 billion impressions.
George Bell, CEO, Jumptap, said: "The mobile advertising industry continues to grow at more than 50 per cent annually. Jumptap is growing in excess of that.
"We're focused on expanding our leadership in this surging market, developing our patented technologies in data and targeting, and preparing the company to go public."
Additionally, the agency's employee base grew by 50 per cent in 2011.
