So says AdMob, which served ads to more than four million unique iPhones in October.
Apple's iPhone attracted more ad impressions across AdMob's global network than any other device last month, displacing Motorola's Razr as top dog.The mobile ad specialist says there are more than 400 apps and sites within its specially tailored iPhone ad network and claims it served ads to 30 per cent of all the iPhones active in the market during the month.
Looking at the stats in more detail, 37 per cent of the company's iPhone ad impressions came from outside the US, with 17 per cent from Western Europe and eight per cent from Asia.
However, despite its dominant ranking globally, AdMob says iPhone remains the number two device in the US behind the Razr and is number three in the UK behind the Nokia N95 and Sony Ericsson's K800i.
Overall, AdMob's global impressions grew 13.8 per cent in October to 5.8 billion, while US requests grew 7.9 per cent to 2.2 billion and UK requests grew 16 per cent.
