Google is challenging Siri on its own turf by taking its Voice Search app to iPhone and iPads
The app will allow users to ask questions, before having relevant results returned to them and read out where possible.
The audio response element of Google Voice Search will provide key details of each search result read out by an automated voice to the user.
Already available on Android, Google’s Voice Search app is being prepped for an imminent release in the Apple App Store.
If Google can get their voice search working for iPad before Apple can, it'll be a high black eye for the Cupertino company.
