Microsoft's sister Windows Phone devices to outshine its flagship console?
Mobile gaming has come a long way since the days of 90s sensation 'Snake' and chip maker Nvidia claims smartphone games will soon provide better graphics than the Xbox 360, according to Cnet.
Mobile games have become increasingly important as consumers look to purchase devices based on their entertainment functionality, rather than their ability to make simple calls and texts.
A fine example of this trend is the new iPad which comes with a Retina display HD screen, while more OEMs are introducing quad-core chips to their mobile devices for enhanced graphics.
Nvidia also highlights that these chips are putting mobile devices on par with the likes of gaming portables such as the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.
