Rovio's Angry Birds series is the most successful mobile game ever, recently passing one billion downloads across all versions of the franchise.
Of course, this left people wondering how the firm could possibly look to progress, and whether it only had a desire to design games about vexed avians.
Now, Rovio chief Mikael Hed has told Yle that the firm's next series will be called 'Amazing Alex', based on a young boy of the same name who loves to build things.
The game is a reworking of the Casey's Contraptions puzzle game and will be released in two months time.
Hed, added: "The quality pressure is high. We want to maintain the high standard Angry Birds fans have come to enjoy."
