What are you on? About.
Tim Green - Exec Editor, Mobile Entertainment

If you are a content CEO you could earn £120k basic. If you’re a really good one, you could get £205k. This and more from IMR’s content industry salary survey…
What are you worth? No, we don’t want to kill you and claim the life insurance. But we do want you to read our first salary survey. It’ll make you either very smug or so angry that you’ll smash the boss’s door with an axe.
IMR Executive’s ‘Mobile Content Salary Survey’ was carried out earlier this year in response to the relative lack of remuneration data available in the content space. It was compiled with information from companies participating in IMR’s global recruitment campaigns.
Of course, there is significant variation from company to company. Established firms, for example, will usually offer a different package from the start-up or early-stage venture, which will remunerate according to risk and equity allocation.
Please bear in mind that the figures given are representative of basic salary, and do not include bonus schemes or benefits translated into monetary form. These can make a huge difference to the package; the survey saw bonuses range from 10 per cent of salary to 100 per cent.
As a general trend the larger, more established organisations offered comprehensive benefits such as pension, health, company car, travel expenses and so on.
These extras are important. IMR Executive says numerous roles successfully compete based on the whole package, not simply the basic salary. It adds that a weak package can endanger the negotiations substantially. So read on and rejoice/weep…
