The legendary show continues in its scaled back form...
E3 returns for its second scaled-back outing, a far cry from the cacophonous brashness of old, taking place once more at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The event is focused on ‘the business of the computer and video games industry, with an emphasis on press events and small meetings with media, development and other key sectors’.
Once again the event will not feature a large trade show floor environment as in previous years, although the ESA are keen to add that there will still be opportunities for game demonstrations. So long as you are invited, anyway – attendance at all events, meetings and demonstrations is strictly by invitation only, although will be open to both ESA members and non-members in the console, PC, online, console, hardware and mobile game industries.
