Following in 3 UK's footsteps by promoting premium version of streaming music service.

Swedish telco Telia has started offering Spotify Premium to its mobile and broadband customers, following a recent deal signed between the two companies.

New customers signing up to selected broadband or mobile packages will get Spotify Premium bundled in, offering them unlimited ad-free streaming - and in mobile's case, the innovative mobile app with its offline cacheing features.

Telia is offering the service free until Easter to customers who sign up this side of Christmas, as an enticement.

The company is the second mobile operator to bundle Spotify Premium with its tariffs. 3 UK is selling the HTC Hero handset with a contract that includes Spotify.

Our Swedish is a bit rusty, but judging from the Spotify section of Telia's website, it has a wider range of handsets, including the Samsung i5700 Galaxy, HTC Tattoo, Sony Ericsson Satio, and Huawei U1250.
