Global fashion brand goes mobile to offer browsing, buying and tracking on the move.
Samsung is billing this as Zara's first Android app, though Google Play suggests the retailer launched a very basic offering before, which was just a link to the website – something that irked users massively.
Either way, Zara has teamed with the South Korean firm for the release of this new fashion app, which is available to more than 20 European countries at launch.
The partnership means only users of Samsung's Android devices will have access to the app for the first six months – downloadable from Samsung Apps.
The brand has designed the app so that it will feature new releases, and support payments, tracking, browsing, and customer services.
App users can also scan barcodes when in-store to check for other colours and stock.
