New device available one day early for Samsung brand store customers.
Following last week’s announcement that the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini would be hitting UK shelves on November 8th, the manufacturer has now revealed that its Galaxy Camera is also to be released on the same day.
Available to the public at large on Thursday November 8th, Samsung brand store customers will be able to get their hands on the new camera one day early, from 5pm on November 7th.
The new connected camera, which was unveiled in Berlin at IFA 2012 in August, is designed to combine optimised performance photography with the design of the Galaxy smartphone, featuring a 21x optical zoom lens, the latest Android OS (4.1 Jelly Bean) and 3G connectivity.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Camera also comes with a 16-Megapixel 1/2.3” BSI CMOS sensor, along with the world’s largest camera display – a 121.2mm HD Super Clear Touch Display.
Simon Stanford, Vice President, Telecommunications & Networks Division, Samsung UK and Ireland, said: “The initial response to the Galaxy Camera has been amazing and we are really looking forward to offering our customers a completely new type of digital photography device. The Galaxy Camera is a fantastic example of our continued passion for innovation and we are excited to be evolving our Galaxy range even further.”
