Over 1m songs available for locals across Android, iOS, and more.
Times Internet-owned Gaana, self-described as the 'largest online music service in India' due to its three million monthly visitors, has undergone a cross-platform mobile launch.
That means users can now access more than one million songs via apps available for Android, iOS, BlackBerry, and J2ME devices. The apps will also allow users to see what friends are listening to, monitor play history and favourites in real-time, share content via email/social media and more.
Satyan Gajwani, CEO of Times Internet, said: "We are so proud of the Gaana experience on mobile. Indian consumers love their music, and we've built a product that matches their expectations for excellence across every screen that matters to them.
"Gaana on mobile is feature-rich and intuitive to use, and we intend to use this as a base to build even more functionality and offerings for our users, across all platforms."
