Want to get your hands on one of the new iPhones – and then throw it on the floor? Here’s what happens if you do.
The iPhone isn’t known for being very durable. The slightest of knocks can cause the casing to shatter, leaving the device near unusable.
23 per cent of iPhone bought from the day of release in the UK will be damaged within a year, reveals SquareTrade.
The two most common ways to damage a phone is by being dropped (30 per cent) and spilling a drink on them (23 per cent).
Research has found that those who commute are 66 per cent more likely to damage their device; whist people who trade stocks frequently are 60 per cent more likely, and strangely tattooed individuals are apparently 37 per cent more likely… Go figure!
Now, Apple takes on Apple in an epic test of strength, durability and vigor… well the phones get dropped on the floor.
