Futuristic RPG hits iOS after securing seven awards at E3 2013.
Square Enix has launched Deus Ex: The Fall for iOS devices today, developed by the company's European mobile division.
The Fall is set in 2027, a time when technology and science are being used to genetically enhance people. It's also a time of social segregation and scheming.
The government has been overthrown by corrupt corporations that control the drug trade needed for the cyborgs to survive.
Amongst the turmoil, players take on the role of former British SAS mercenary Ben Saxon – a man that has also been augmented – who desperately seeks to discover the truth about the narcotics nightmare.
The traditional boxed games studio has been highly commended for the new FPS RPG release, securing seven awards at E3 2013.
Antony Douglas, GM of Square Enix Mobile, said: "Smart devices are central to Square Enix’s platform strategy and we approach it with the same attention as our boxed and digital releases. Deus Ex: The Fall is going to be testament to our commitment in delivering high quality entertainment on mobile and tablet devices."
Deus Ex: The Fall is available for £4.99 from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
