You can't touch this.

27-year-old Nadav Nirenberg lost his iPhone 4 during a cab ride on New Year's Eve, but woke up to an enlightening email on the following morning, which revealed his missing device was being used on the OKCupid dating site, according to the New York Post.

Rather than report the scenario to the police, Nirenberg donned his vigilante hat and reeled in the crook by signing up to the service as a curvy 24-year-old woman, proceeding to send messages and arrange a date with his prey.

Like a moth to a flame, the thief accepted the offer from Nirenberg – aka Jennifer –  who managed to evade a phone number request by saying, "Ha ha, who talks on the phone anymore?"

Nirenberg, said: "As soon as he responded, it was pretty crazy. It was extremely surreal. I could log on and see everything he was sending. He was even using my photo."

The rustler later arrived at Nirenberg's place to be greeted by the master of the honey trap, who demanded his phone back while waving a hammer around.

He handed the culprit a $20 bill in exchange for the device, but dealt a final blow as the crook walked away with his tail between his legs, saying "You smell great, though."
