Food fanatics can now seek out all manner of culinary hotspots with the new Good Food Guide app for iOS devices.

Regardless of your taste, you can now locate just about every type of restaurant, pub, café or bar directly from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

The app features more than 1,300 of the best venues from around the UK, alongside a host of additional foodie features.

Those who know exactly what they are looking for can use the app to hone in on preferred places with the Nearby Places function, while those keen on a certain cuisine can use it to find the very best on offer using the Advance Search.

However, those looking for a dafe recommendation can check out the Editors’ Picks, featuring suggestions from Good Food Guide experts.

There is also a Foodie’s Digest for epicurean news, chef interviews and lively articles.
