Photo editing platform for click-happy smartphone snappers.
tadaa is a mobile image suite that boasts around 1.5m users to date. The app offers members a series of photo editing tools that allow them to tinker with pictures before saving them privately to their device or with the community of users.
Instagram integration was recently added, enabling users to import photos from the rival picture community. It follows the recent terms of service fallout that saw Instagram users outraged as the conditions suggested the startup would sell their photos.
The app has dozens of filters and frames to choose from, while users can also alter lighting, contrast and saturation. Other features include re-posting photos (imagine a Twitter retweet), replying with pictures, and putting their creativity to the test in official competitions.
Nikolas Schoppmeier, CEO and co-founder, tadaa, said: "We’ve experienced some amazing growth over the past six months and a lot of folks tell us it’s because we actually listen to them.
"The way we take, store, share and enjoy photos is changing fundamentally. It’s one of the central pieces of modern communication and with the recent shift in mobile technology, people are changing the way they use it in their daily lives. We want to build the best photo app ever, simple as that, so we gauge our ideas with the real world all the time. We’re all about our users."
