26 per cent of smartphone owners will browse on their mobile before hitting the shops.

A new infographic from shopping inspiration app Udozi has found that 26 per cent of smartphone owners will browse on their mobile prior to heading for the high-street.

Udozi’s infographic looks at the numerous ways that mobile is helping to push people back on the high-street. It shows that one in five women want to reserve fashion products from their smartphones to collect in-store, while one in ten consumers use their mobiles to find discounts before heading into local stores.

Elsewhere, the infographic’s key stats show that Brits walk an average of 19.79 miles every year to complete their Christmas shopping, while 31 per cent of Brits will make five or more trips to the high-street to complete their Christmas shopping.
