RIM looks to cover all areas of the market with new mobiles.
With the BlackBerry 10 launch now just weeks away, RIM (Research in Motion) has revealed that the firm will be releasing six new handsets over the next 12 months, in a bid to cater for all ends of the market.
The six new handsets, which will all run the BlackBerry 10 operating system, are designed to offer consumers a range of low, medium and high-end mobile options.
Details of the devices are expected to be announced in full at the BlackBerry 10 press conference on January 30th, whereby further OS details will also be revealed.
Rumours surfacing on the Internet have suggested that one of the devices will be labelled as the Z10, featuring a full touch screen, while unconfirmed reports also tell of a device branded as the X10, featuring BlackBerry’s QWERTY keyboard.
The new devices will be the first that BlackBerry has brought to the market since the Curve 9320 in May 2012.
