New global deal part of aim to provide cross-device experience.
Games discovery and monetisation network WildTangent recently secured a deal with Sony to come pre-installed on Xperia devices, adding to the 100 million handsets and tablets it already serves.
The games firm now furthers its reach by securing a contract with Taiwanese OEM Asus, and the deal will see the WildTangent Games service pre-installed on all Asus tablets globally.
Users will have initially have access to premium games and in-app items for free, which is achieved through brand advertisers providing the company's revenue. Once the freebie period is over, users can rent games at a low cost.

WildTangent can be found inside the Asus@vibe+ for Android entertainment hub. Additionally, WildTangent will soon launch for Asus Windows 8 PCs.
