Video sharing platform enables users to stream content from mobile to TV with one touch.
YouTube first announced its mobile to TV streaming initiative in beta form back in November, enabling its users with Android smartphones and tablets to share content from the mobile app to connected TVs.
The firm has honed the service ahead of next week's CES, announcing that mobile/TV pairing will work across devices from Bang & Olufsen, LG, Panasonic, Sony, Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba and more.
With a tap of just one button, YouTube assures users will be able to send videos from mobile to the big screen, pausing, rewinding and so on, just as they would do with a normal remote.
In fact, YouTube even says: "Your phone is now your remote."
