Typing can be hard work, so simply drag your finger across your mobile screen to send messages instead.
SwiftKey was founded back in 2008 by Cambridge University graduates, and now has more than 90 staff members. Having ranked as the best-selling Android app of 2012, the intuitive typing service has introduced Swiftkey 4.
The new version of the app makes typing faster and more accurate via the SwiftKey Flow feature, which allows users to type by gliding their finger across the device screen. What's more, words are predicted from the moment the first letter is entered.
Personalisation is made available when the user grants the app access to Gmail, Facebook and so on, thus enabling it to recognise slang and other commonly used terms. Meanwhile, the app supports 60 languages, boasting new additions including Bosnian and Thai.
Ben Medlock, SwiftKey co-founder and CTO, said: "Everyone’s had embarrassing autocorrect moments. That’s why we built SwiftKey to understand the context of words, not just their spelling.
"It works from the word go to adjust to you — from the phrases you write to how you touch the screen. It means you don’t have to worry about typing, it does all the hard work for you."
SwiftKey 4 is available on Google Play for a promo price of £1.49, while existing users can upgrade for free.
