Delivers the numbers to mark one-year anniversary.
Social games network PapayaMobile launched the commission-free AppFlood cross-promotional network last summer, allowing Android developers to buy, sell and exchange ad-based exposure in each other's titles.
With the anniversary celebrations now underway, PapayaMobile says AppFlood boasts more than 4,500 developers, 147 million users – up 267 per cent from 40 million in January 2013 – and hit 46m monthly active users in June to deliver 1.3bn impressions.
The aforementioned figures are based solely on the Google OS, thought AppFlood was recently introduced to iOS and the company expects the Apple platform to drive growth forward.
A number of transparent deals and analytics features have been added lately too, which follows AppFlood data show that 71 per cent of developers feel cheated by dodgy advertising networks.
Si Shen, CEO of PapayaMobile, said: "The mobile ad network space as a whole is seeing a lot of growth, as illustrated by recent newsworthy acquisitions. The continued adoption of Android, and Apple’s impressive Q2 results – fuelled largely by the iPhone, indicate that mobile is showing no signs of slowing down.
"We strive to find new ways to best serve the developer community to better take advantage of that opportunity. Since many of our developers create apps across both Android and iOS, AppFlood’s support of both platforms means far greater reach, far better monetisation and more efficient user acquisition."
