Earlier this week, device intelligence platform AdTruth revealed its partnership with Somo has helped the mobile marketing agency's campaign reach surge by 40 per cent.
AdTruth has now issued an infographic detailing mobile's meteoric rise, which shows 56 per cent of American adults now own a smartphone.
Meanwhile, people check their smartphones 150 times a day, but mostly for using the web and apps rather than make those outlandish call things and hear voices.
It also looks at the opportunity of mobile advertising and the problem with privacy.
