A new hire, a promotion, and, no, we can't seem to get rid of Tim Green.
Mobile Entertainment has expanded with the appointment of Phil Tottman as staff writer. Phil joins the team following a stint working on a number of Bauer publications.
At the same time, erstwhile staff writer Zen Terrelonge has been promoted to deputy editor. The move will see him work more closely with publisher Katy Phillips on events while he continues to help shape and maintain the brand's editorial direction.
And worry not, mobile payments-loving, robot-dancing, associate editor Tim Green will remain on-board and continue to deliver irreverent views of the industry on a weekly basis.
Katy Phillips, publisher, Mobile Entertainment, said: "We’re delighted to welcome Phil to the team. He joins us at a busy time in the ME calendar. Not only will he helping to drive awareness of the ME Awards, he’ll also play a big part in the development of this year’s Top 50 Mobile Innovators Project.
"Zen’s promotion to deputy editor is also well-deserved and we are delighted that we’ll be seeing more from ME veteran Tim Green. Tim’s superior knowledge of the mobile market is vital to the growth and progression of the ME brand."
ME has been the market-leading B2B mobile content destination since launch in 2005. In the beginning news was very much focused on products such as Java and ringtones. Working within an industry that has seen dramatic changes over the years, ME is now the home of daily news, analysis and opinion centred around apps, advertising, brands, social media, advertising, AR and more.
