33 per cent of people prefer to use tablets during their ‘me time.’

Tablet shipments increased by 117 per cent in the first quarter of 2013, and it is on its way to surpass laptops this year and PC’s in 2015.

It has become one of the most used devices for entertainment on the market, with 33 per cent saying that they prefer to watch videos on a tablet during their alone time, more so than on any other device, and least of all on a TV.

The two most enjoyable spots to watch tablet videos at home have turned out to be on the sofa, and in bed.

So not on the toilet then? Just us…

100 per cent of people use their tablets for watching videos the most while at home, with 66 per cent said that it would then be on vacation – where 90 per cent of Brits have admitted to wasting four hours a day on a device.

Only 22 per cent say that they use a tablet on their commute, but the same amount appear to carry on the use whilst at work. (Not advised unless actually using it for work.)

Tablet users are least likely to multitask on the device, even though 25 per cent pay bills via a tablet and it is most likely to be used for online shopping.
