Don’t miss your chance to win a Marmalade license and an iPad Mini.

Tomorrow night (April 24th) will see the biggest names from across the mobile app developer ecosystem descend upon London’s Grace for the first ever InMobi Developer Party for a night of unprecedented networking opportunities and the chance to win a Marmalade license and an iPad Mini.

Hosted in association with ME sister publication Develop, the strictly developer-only event will provide attendees with a unique, highly focused evening of networking and new business opportunities.

Experts from InMobi will also be there on the night to share their unique expertise and insights with those in attendance.

Already confirmed to attend on the night are the likes of Google UK, Unity, Affinity Studios, BigBit, BlackBerry, Gamesys, Switchfire, Flippin Pixels, Orange Labs UK, Combination Studios, and Remode Studios.

Furthermore, attendees will be given the chance to take home a Marmalade license and a brand spanking new iPad Mini. Developers will be able to submit ideas for a useful and addictive app that users will want/and or need on a day-to-day basis, with the winning entry to be announced on the night. The competition will be judged by InMobi and Marmalade.

Over the past year, InMobi has made a number of moves in its commitment to supporting the app development market. The firm recently launched its App Publish distribution platform, while its general manager of performance for EMEA, Edward Laws, spoke to Mobile Entertainment about the potential for anyone to succeed in today’s app developer ecosystem.

Commenting on the upcoming InMobi Developer Party, Laws said: "Mobile apps are growing exponentially in terms of download volumes and user engagement. However, for many developers there are still significant challenges acquiring new high-quality users. With global revenue from app stores set to hit $25 billion this year, and with increasing in-app purchase opportunities, now is the time for developers to start prospering.

"We're really excited about our first developer meet-up with Mobile Entertainment and Develop on April 24th, and sharing best practice on how to acquire, engage and monetise users on a global scale."
