Online version of games social network is now live with mobile apps to follow.
Discovery network TeePee Games revealed gamesGRABR back in November, and today the 'first social network for games' opens in beta.
The portal covers console and mobile games, and invites casual and hardcore gamers alike to connect by playing together, while offering recommendations and opinions about new and existing titles.
Meanwhile, partnerships with retailers and affiliates means users can buy and download games with one-click.
Users can sign up for a free account on www.gamesgrabr.com, though the mobile apps are still currently in development.
Tony Pearce, CEO and co-founder of gamesGRABR, said: "We’ve launched with affiliate deals in place with Amazon and Apple, giving us a catalogue of thousands of physical and digital games and products. Right now we’re also speaking with a number of smaller indie stores so that our users will also be able to discover great hard to find gaming gems.
"Its universal appeal and the ability to play and buy instantly, all wrapped up in a striking user experience, is what makes gamesGRABR one of the most exciting new e-commerce and digital platforms around."
