Dance with your device with SEGA’s new release for iOS.

Go Dance from SEGA, turns the Facetime camera on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch into a motion-sensor letting players dance along to the beat of the app.

Once a device is placed on a level surface, the extreme reality motion-capture technology senses movements from the dancer in front of the camera, imitating their every move with an avatar on screen.

Dancing skills are recognised and scored in real-time, and users can share their scores to compete with others around the world on Facebook or email.

Chart topping hits can be blasted out through a device to dance your heart out to – with new songs, backgrounds and avatars coming soon.

Go Dance allows people who love a good jive to play anytime and anywhere. However, it would possibly be best played at home, as you may end up looking a bit silly.

In other news, SEGA has been nominated in the ME Awards 2013 for best games publisher.

The game is available to download now for £1.49 from the App Store.

Check out the game trailer below.
