In your face: Television X to air first 3D adult film

Set to make make British broadcasting history.

Sky viewers with a 3D TV will be able to watch The Society 3D on Television X and its sister channel Red Hot TV from this Friday Jan 13th. The film will also be available in the anaglyph version using red-and-green glasses.

The film stars Angel Long and has been produced British studio Kaizen XXX.

"We are really excited about bringing an intensely erotic experience to our customers across the UK and Ireland," said Head of Programming for Television X Chris Ratcliff. "The UK has never seen anything like this!"

3D is considered one of the possible 'saviours' of the more high-end porn market, and could have a place within the mobile channel.

Handset makers are already experimenting with the format, most notably LG, which launched Optimus 3D phones last year.
