It's a nice bit of business for Cherry Media, one of the market's longest established adult specialists, with over 700 D2C channels in its distribution network.
And it's good news for AMV, the UK firm that recently bought itself out of ownership by Mandalay Media and which acquired the music content firm K2 this week.
The partners say the new products will self-evidently be carried outside of operator decks and will be promoted online and via mass media ads.
“We feel vindicated that after a rigorous tendering and due-diligence process, it was Cherry’s unique approach to deliver content experiences driven entirely by consumer context that ultimately secured this deal,” Julia Dimambro, owner of Cherry Media.
They say trial results increased monthly ARPU by up to 600 per cent.
