From next week, adult label Digital Playground will be releasing 'Jailhouse Heat 3D' as the first hi-def 3D adult film for Blu-Ray.

It's hardly surprising. Adult content has pushed the boundaries of technology going right back to the first mass production printing of the 19th century.

Mind you, full screen TV is a little - er - communal for the typical adult subscriber so you have to wonder if mobile could be a more natural home for this kind of content.

Maybe adult could give a boost to the LG Optimus – still the industry's highest profile 3D phone – although one wonders how pleased the Koreans would be about that.
