Vine service will not remove adult material to keep in line with censorship-free policy.

Twitter’s new video-sharing app, Vine, is being filled with porn, with users taking advantage of its lack of restrictions to post and search for all manner of sexually explicit material.

Launched by Twitter last week, the Vine platform allows users to search for any given subject with hashtags. And, unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for many to begin sharing and seeking out videos of a distinctly adult nature.

Due to Twitter’s censorship-free policy, there are no restrictions as to the material one can post. This subsequently led to a spate of posts detailing the male genitalia in all its glory, along with a raft of clips displaying mostly male acts of extreme exhibitionism and intensely romantic activities.

The Vine rules state that ‘You should only provide Content that you are comfortable sharing with others under these Terms’.

At present, videos are being regulated by a function that allows users to mark a video as ‘inappropriate’.
